Koko by Tavora Ordina

Welcome to Koko. These terms are short on purpose — they say who owns what, what Koko promises (and doesn't), and the common sense we ask of you.
Koko is a household kitchen assistant: inventory, meals, shopping, calendar, chores, and an AI helper. Koko is currently in an invite-only beta — features may change, break, or be rebuilt as we learn, and access may be adjusted during the beta.
One account belongs to one household. You're responsible for the account's password and for who you share your household invite code with — anyone who joins with it becomes part of your household and sees its data. You must be an adult to create a household account.
Everything your family puts into Koko — your inventory, recipes, photos, events, votes — remains yours. We host and process it only to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or ask us to delete it at any time.
The Koko software, design, name, and technology belong to Tavora Ordina, LLC (patents pending). We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your household. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or probe the service's security.
Koko's intelligence drafts recipes, reads receipts, estimates nutrition, and interprets what you say. It is genuinely useful and genuinely imperfect. Do not rely on Koko for allergy, dietary, medical, or food-safety decisions — read real labels, check real dates, and use your judgment. Nutrition figures are estimates. Recipes generated from videos or requests should be sanity-checked like any recipe from the internet.
Don't use Koko to do anything unlawful, to harm others, to disrupt the service, or to hammer the AI with automated traffic (households are rate-limited to keep Koko fast and affordable for everyone).
Koko is provided "as is." During beta especially, we don't promise uninterrupted service or error-free behavior. To the fullest extent the law allows, Tavora Ordina, LLC's liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us for it (during the free beta: zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says can't be limited.
You can stop using Koko and delete your household at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we'll be reasonable about it — a conversation before a shutdown, except in serious cases.
If these terms change materially, we'll tell you in the app before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, USA.
